All profits from corporate events and initiatives conducted under the Thanks-a-Million Foundation are invested equally in supporting people with Multiple Sclerosis (via the MS Society of Queensland ) and helping to fund research into a cure (via Multiple Sclerosis Research Australia ).
In other words, 50% of funds you raise will be used by the MS Society of Queensland to provide direct services to people living with MS, and the other half will be donated directly to Multiple Sclerosis Research Australia (MSRA).
The MS Society of Queensland delivers an extensive network of services and support including:

- Internet resources
- Individual and family counselling
- Physiotherapy
- Hydrotherapy
- Pain management
- Interest free loans to purchase specialised equipment
- Prescription of mobility aids and appliances
- Career counselling/ vocational guidance
- 24 hour residential care
- Short-term and emergency respite
- In-home respite and care
MS Research Australia (MSRA) was established in 2004 to boost research, combat the impact of Multiple Sclerosis and reduce the human suffering and financial burden on the community.
In the short term, MSRA aims to improve diagnosis and identify ways of prevention and better treatment for MS. Long-term, it aims to find a cause and a cure.
The research focus of MSRA is in areas where Australian researchers can have the greatest impact in world-wide MS research.
