Thanks A Million: $1 million is the challenge that needs to be met by the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Queensland in 2008.

Fantastic leading edge research is being conducted throughout Australia into multiples sclerosis; however, the 'Thanks A Million' campaign will directly support Queensland initiatives in research and in particular provide independent living apartments in the heart of Coorparoo.  "Life at Coorparoo" will help people with MS integrate back into the community.  The Thanks-a-Million Foundation is a growing network of community-spirited companies and organisations committed to raising funds to support Queenslanders living with MS and funding research into a cure. 

It’s a corporate network like no other: a place where Queensland’s business leaders, government officers, entrepreneurs and small business owners can share information about their MS fundraising events, and inspire each other with creative ways to involve their suppliers and corporate contacts.

The Foundation works in partnership with the MS Society of Queensland which actively helps to promote member’s events and provides other opportunities for corporate involvement such as workplace giving   and staff engagement through high profile events including the MSQuerade Ball and the MS Brissie to the Bay Bike Ride..

The goal of the Thanks-a-Million Foundation is to raise $1 Million for MS in 2008…and to fire up the business community to adopt the MS Society of Queensland as their charity of choice.
